This is the response of Qin and Han Dynasty's socialstate and culture development, and the reflection of the culture intension andtraditional design conception in that particular historical period. Horse figure presentrealistic style primly, but in Qin and Han dynasty, it unconquerably get great advantage by theinner symbolic meaning. Qin and Han dynasty horse figure is just the demonstration of somespirit as strive ness and energy. Horse slowly from the normal animal becomes the messengerferrying the universe, archive the romantic's peak. All the symbol meanings have not anyrelationship, these symbols increased and enlarged step by step, formed the historical process ofthe Qin and Han dynasty horse figure spirit from different aspects with the development of thesociety and history. This symbol meaning will be the symbol which has deeper meaning forever in the future development.lots of research about theories of art and design of art classify Qin and HanDynasty's art as one kind, but in fact, Qin and Han Dynasty's art Design no matter onthe cultural origin, or the artistic expression has a great difference. Qin and Handynasty's art technique are realism, Qin dynasty is apt to express the reality, Han dynasty is aptto express the exaggeration; Qin dynasty focus on the similar represent ration, but Han. dynastyfocus on the spirit express. The techniques of representation contain the new art spirit no matterone is realism the other is romanticism; because the difference of inheritance of culture andnationality psychology, Qin and Han's art character and format have great change and even cannot find the inheritance of one's history. "horse trample Hun" is just the national psychologyroots on the time spirit of that time and finally becomes the art character of HUD quoin tombsculpture which is different than ever. In the development of Qin and Han Dynasty'horse figure, the arts based on realistically painting, give more attention to thespirit of the horse, not limited on the appearance, use romantic characteristic, offerwell reference for our planar design of today. The art design has the responsibility of passing culture on while absorbing traditional quintessence ofculture, the study of art design should study the tradition and beyond the tradition, based on the tradition but not limited by the tradition.
