The Research Of Age Tendency Of Development Of The Women's Memory Updating

Memory updating is one of the important functions of the central executive system in working memory, and it is the capacity to revise the content in working memory continuously according to the goal of the task ,in order to include new information .Combining the n-back paradigm ,n=2, research adopts 3×9 design .One factor is age group, and respectively is teenager group (16-19), younger adult group (25-35) and older adult (36-55).The other factor is times of updating, and respectively is one ,two, three ,four ,five ,six,seven, eight and nine. Experiments include practical experiment and official experiment. Research faced to the women in 16-55, and experiments research the influence of different ages to women's memory updating function. The result of experiment showed: It has age differences in women's updating memory function in working memory. Women's updating memory function starts in teenager to consummate gradually, achieves the peak in the younger adult time, and along with the age presents the drop tendency. Other wise,the research analysis and explain clearly the age tendency of development of the women's memory updating in working memory. From a new perspective, provide the experimental evidence and theoretical support for the theory of memory updating in working memory.
