The Investigation About The Used Conditions Of "V Qilai" And "V Lai" In Modern Chinese

This thesis is investigating the used conditions of"V Qilai"and"V Lai"in modern Chinese from the aspects of syntactic distribution, the expressive function and the representation in text.Chapter one explain the reason and the signification of this subject. chapter two review the existing studies of"V Qilai"and"V Lai". Chapter three definitude the textual train of think : first choose verbs like"Kan","Xiang","Ting","Shuo","Suan","Lun", compare the differences of"V Qilai"and"V Lai"which are made of these verbs. Besides, because the verbs which can be combined with"Qilai"are more than the verbs which can be combined with"Lai", then we will investigate the conditions of the structures which are made of"Qilai"and the other verbs. Chapter four introdduce the sources of the language materials.Chapter five first investigate the used conditions of"Qilai"and"Lai"which respectively are combined with"Kan","Xiang","Ting","Shuo","Suan","Lun"from the aspects of syntactic distribution, the expressive function and the representation in text. We discover that the used conditions of"V Qilai"and"V Lai"show differences when the verbs are different."Xiang Qilai"and"Xiang Lai"have already divided the work obviously."Xiang Qilai"have many syntactic place, but more than 84.3% of the"Xiang Qilai"in the language materials act as"Ji Weiyu", express that"Sb begin to think sth"or"Sb remember sth"; but"Xiang Lai"always express a kind of cognitive feeling either act as"Jvjian Charuyu"or act as"Jvnei Charuyu", and"Xiang Qilai"and"Xiang Lai"can not be replaced when"Xiang Lai"act as"Jvnei Charuyu"and express a cognitive feeling."Kan Qilai"and"Kan Lai"have divided the work at a certain extent, put up some conditional replacements: on the one hand ,when"Kan Qilai"and"Kan Lai"replace each other at the place of"Jvnei", the meanings may be changed; on the other hand, when you want to express a kind of perception, use"Kan Lai"is difficult to accept."Shuo Qilai"and"Shuo Lai","Ting Qilai"and"Ting Lai","Suan Qilai"and"Suan Lai"don't divide the work bacically, in fact their development are imbalance: the proportions of"Shuo Lai"which express a cognition feeling and"Ting Qilai"which express a perception are higher than their homologous forms. Further more at least in the language materials we have investigated, there isn't a"Lunlai".We also investigate the conditions of the structures which are made of"Qilai"and the other verbs and found that there are 61 verbs which can be combined with"Qilai". There are 5 verbs which can either act as"Jvjian Charuyu"and"Jvnei Charuyu". They are"Bi","Bijiao","Fenxi","Huixiang","Jiang". There are 56 verbs which can only be"Jvnei Charuyu". We don't find a verb which can only be"Jvjian Charuyu".Chapter 6, a conclusion was made to the previous study.
