The Aesthetics And Artistic Treatment Research On Huang An-lun's Choral Works

Huang An-lun [1949—], the contemporary famousChinese-Canadian composer in our country. His music includes morethan 20 symphonic works, operatic productions, ballets, large oratoriosand numbers of choral, chamber, film music, etc. His choral works havegreat imposing manner, fine techniques and bright national style, whichis his tmique individual characteristic. In the various modern musicschools, he persists the melody creation, which has made the remarkablecontribution for the world choral creation. In this article, I try to analysisHuang An -lun's choral works and intend to explore the Characteristic ofhis choral works and the significance to the choral enterprisedevelopment in our country, with a view to his creation achievement, theoutline of representative work, Esthetics thought and how to carry onartistic processing on his choral works.The thesis attempts to apply an-overall and comprehensive approach tothe aritistic features of Huang An-lun's choral works from four aspects.The whole thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describesthe life experiences and the artistic achievements of Huang An-lunbriefly; The second chapter describes his representative works in musicontology simply, for example, "Easter Cantata", "Psalm22, A Cantata in Baroque Style", "Oratorio Revelation", "Symphonic Cantata" and "ARequiem in Chinese"; The third chapter analyses Esthetics thought in thecreation of his choral works, including (1) Dialectical unification of"Heteronomie-asthetik" and "Autonomic- asthetik" (2) unification ofspirit of the age and creation practice (3) the unification of The musiccreation and acception; The four chapter discusses how to carry onartistic processing on his choral works, basing on repeated practice anddirection principles, including(1)How to read score(2) How to deal withthe acoustic level(3)How to process sound(4)How to adjust thechoral sound.Huang An-lun's choral works, with broad imposing manner and full ofthe national charm, not only have enriched the artistic creation techniquesof our country, but also have played the model role in exploring creationof national style in our up-scale choral work.
