In the modern Chinese literature, Shen Congwen and Laoshe are two famous writers of national minority. Shen Congwen is a Miao nationality writer, and Laoshe is a Manchu nationality writer. They all had the national consciousness of the thick national minority color. But because the background of these two writers' national consciousness has a bigger difference, the Connotation of their national consciousness also presented a bigger difference, which caused their national consciousness to have the certain commeasurability.The text is divided into five chapters. The first chapter compares two writers' background of these national consciousness. Shen Congwen's national consciousness is produces under the background of confrontation of Miao and Manzhu, which causes his national consciousness to be continuously aware of.And the tendency of the confrontation of Miao and Manzhu is obvious. Lao She's national consciousness is not produced under the background of the confrontation of two nationalities,but is produced under the background of two nationalities fusing well.The latter chapters compare the two writers' connotation of nationalconsciousness. The second chapter compares the two writers'National ownership of consciousness. Shen Congwen always highlight his own National ownership of consciousness. But Lao She's National ownership of consciousness have a changing process.The third chapter compares the two Writers of the national culture heritage. Shen Congwen's culture heritage is Hrnong culture, which is different from the Han Confucian culture. Lao She's culture heritage is Manchu culture which is very close to the Han nationality.the fourth chapter compares the writers'attitude to the nationality sinicizes Shen Congwen's attitude to the nationality sinicizes is completely negative, but Lao She's attitude to the nationality sinicizes is contradictory.The fifth chapter compares the writers ponder of the future of their own nationality. Shen Congwen stressed to the nationality's exterior factor, and stated by a dominant way. But Lao She's stressed on the internal factor, and expressed by a concealed way.
