Bantang Sends Out The Fragrance By Leading The Trend Of Poetry Genre

Wangpengyun(1849—1904) is famous for his poetry creation, poetry theory,poetry correction and some other aspects, who is not only an important poet at the endof Qing Dynasty ,but also a great leader in the process of Lingui poetry genre'sformation. As the founder and elite of Lingui poetry genre , Wang has closerelationship with Lingui poetry genre's formation and development, at that time,Lingui poetry genre grew up remarkably in the poetry history, and had great influenceon the poetry world at the end of Qing Dynasty.As a great poet at the end of Qing Dynasty, Wangpengyun formed many styles ofpoetry creation by learning the stongpoints from senior poets, thus made gloriousachievements for his poetry creation. In the meatime, he inherited and developedpoetry theory of Chang poetry genre, made contributions to the prosperous situationin the poetry world at the end of Qing Dynasty, and had great influence on the poetsat that time or afterwards. The poets of Lingui poetry genre explored and createdactively by the influence of Wang, thus made great contributions to the developmentof poetry creation. This paper intends to find out the contributions whichWangpengyun made to the aspects of poetry philosophy, poetry style and thecompilation of poetry materials and documents through analyzing the relationshipbetween Wangpengyun and Lingui poetry genre.
