Apparently Rather Palely, Actually Extremely Interesting

Xiao Hong was a famous writer who had the unique creation individuality. She had a very strong consciousness of literary style, which seemed somewhat inopportune because at that time (1930s-1940s), the idea that the literature content was more important than the literature form was very popular in Chinese modern literary field. Since the new era, an overseas scholar Professor Ge Haowen's "Critical biography of XiaoHong" has attracted the domestic scholar's attention, formed an upsurge of studing XiaoHong, xiaoHong's novel style individuality was reconfirmed by the researcher, called "Xiao Hong ti". But at the end of 20 century, the philosophy of life and the existentialism prevailed in the Chinese literary world, which made some researchers start to analyze and explain Xiao Hong's novel from the aspect of philosophy.Based on the former research results, this article adopts the methods of version-analysis, comparison, relation and psycho-analysis of the writer, focuses on the literary style characteristic of XiaoHong's novel, such as "the philosophy taste", the ideal condition, the image, the narration strategy, the novel's language and so on, tries to analyze Xiao Hong's novels from a newer angle and deeper level.
