Its leader—Gerdan expanded its domain continuously.Kangxi attached importance to it. For that, Kangxi came to the north of Qingdynasty four times. At the third times, Kangxi stayed temporarily at Guihuacity for eleven days. It became an important affair in the Huhhot history.At Guihua city, Kangxi moved troops and did some government affairs inorder to induce Gerdan to capitulate and defeated Gerdan regime. Thistime, Kangxi didn't achieve his purpose but his coming Guihua was an eventof significance in Huhhot history and exerted an influence on Guihuapeople. When Kangxi was away from Guihua city, some legends spreaded abroadup to the present. For example: Kangxi visited Yueming House inprivate, Kangxi's horse hooved the spring, Kangxi gived Wangguoliang areward of the field and etc. These legends spreaded for generations andhided the truth, some people believed it was true.
