The Artistic Presentation Of The Humanistic Feelings Of Emperor Kangxi

Eryuehe praises the achievements of the great emperor from the perspective of civilians in his novel Emperor Kangxi,which can be called the leading work of modern and contemporary history novels.In this paper,the author adopts the exterior-to-interior research approach and commences from the aspects such as the overall construction,humanistic tracing,text features and character shaping,aims to explore the profound implication and realistic significance of the humanistic sentiment in the novel with the novel Emperor Kangxi as the research foundation.The first part summarizes the outline and the status of the novel Emperor Kangxi.First of all,the basic contents of the novel are introduced in volume to sort out the storyline.Secondly,the author Eryuehe's life is introduced in details,and the reason why the novel has powerful influence is analyzed through the comparison of his historical novels,revolutionary historical novels and new historic novels.The second part adopts the method of the close reading of the text and expounds the basic elements of the humanistic sentiment,including profound interpretation of loyalty by loyal ministers,interpretation of people's livelihood by the idea that the people are more important than the ruler,the harmony reflected by the prosperous market,the calling for the national equality of Man and Han nationalities and so on.It fully explores the artistic metaphor of the humanistic sentiment in the novel from point to surface,from the small to the large and from the part to the whole.The third part firstly illustrates that humanistic sentiment is the product of spontaneous advanced thoughts in the history of national development from the perspective of literary history.The expression of humanistic sentiment can be traced back to the period of prehistoric mythology,in which mythical heroes benefited the people by sacrificing themselves;the philosophers of various schools in the Spring and Autumn period advocates benevolence and goodness,which shines the brilliance of humanistic sentiment;the earliest recorded law and regulation in Chinese history—the system of rites and music advocates realizing the society of Great Harmony by restraining oneself and restoring the rites;it breaks through the boundaries of poverty and nobility as well as elegance and vulgarity,and explores the austerity and elegance admired by the literati for thousands of years.It outlines the process of the development of humanistic sentiment to reveal the source of Eryuehe's inspiration of humanistic sentiment.The fourth part adopts the method of exemplification to analyze the artistic presentation of humanistic sentiment in Emperor Kangxi.Firstly,the text features of humanistic sentiment are expounded from three aspects,respectively the narrative form of traditional chapter novel,the expression form of “archaism” language and the isomorphism of text reality appeal and mainstream ideology;secondly,the shaping of the characters with humanistic sentiment is analyzed with Emperor Kangxi,the imperial doctor Hu Gongshan and the resourceful Zhou Peigong as the examples;thirdly,it has in-depth study on the plot construction of the stories about Emperor Kangxi's private visit,the suppression of three states and determining the crown prince.The fifth part adopts the method of cultural research,and mainly probes into the significance and far-reaching influence of the study of humanistic sentiment on national revitalization,personal cultivation and literary orientation based on the great development of informationization nowadays.
