In the era of consume culture and cultural globalization, the multi-culture views are respected unprecedentedly. The contemplation of the centralization and the form of unified narration and compilation in the literary history is a response to the multi-culturalism from the Literary History. The movement of"rewriting literary history", from the last 1980s to now, is a result of the influence of national culturalism and also a response to the international movement of"rewriting literary history"in 1960s and 1970s. It has great academic values in finding new academic growth point in the research of Chinese literary history and literary theory. On the other hand, the era of cultural consumption is also a double-edged sword. It destroys some good customs and civilization, which our human beings spent thousands of years to build up, at the same time, and makes people lose the origins of their own ethnic culture. Literary is responsible to transmit the ethnic culture. Therefore, in an era of advocating consumption, suspecting, sneering at and deconstructing everything,"rewriting literary history"should not take the attitude of skirting around, resisting or adhering to completely, but reflect how to absorb the positive factors in consumptionism or multiple thoughts while to stick to the cream of traditional civilization, thus to guide the development of contemporary culture to a health way properly. From the perspective of the four traditional cultural elements, the literary history should be a scientific research on the four elements at the same time. However, the contemporary research and compilation of the literary history seems to be only interested in authors, works and the world. Obviously, the literary history is incomplete. This kind of incompleteness restricts the research of the literary history to a deeper degree because it cannot form systematic and related ideas among those elements.Since all the reasons mentioned above, the view of the literary history nowadays should be constructed on the basis of the consumptionismscapes and the reception-aesthetics, which is the theme of this thesis.First of all, the thesis will analyze the current texts on literary history since 20th century to summarize the power for development of the literary history view. The thesis will also discuss the positive and negative elements in the process, thus to provide proper and valuable information for rewriting the literary history.Second, the thesis will analyze the similarity between the consumptionism and the reception-aesthetics to offer rationality to the consumptionism as the theory background for the reception-aesthetics to develop deeply. Consequently, the possibility of constructing the literary history view of the reception-aesthetics can be established.Third, the thesis will discuss the construction of the literary history view of the reception-aesthetics in the consumptionismscapes through the transformation of the four traditional literary elements. Literary market should be one of the elements in the era of consumption. Traditional definition of"reader"should also be improved in the consumptionismscapes, i.e. the general appellation of the writers, the agent in literary market, ordinary readers, critics and groups of writers. Then the thesis can provide proper academic foundations and enrich the connotation of expecting view and the diachronic and synchronic dimensionalities of reception-aesthetics.Fourth, the establishment of the literary history view must be involved with classical literary problems. A work can be called classics mainly because it can survive in multi-reception. Therefore, it may say that the era of consumption can test the"classic"of a work. Thus, it is also a good topic to discuss the influence of the relationship between the formation of classic literature and literary reception in consumptionismscapes on compiling literary history, which is a supplement of the diachronic and synchronic literary standard, so the thesis will also discus it.
