In present China, the popular culture is playing an important role in common people's spirit and culture life. The theories about popular culture from different views are various, but the relations between desire narration of popular culture and relative topics of tragedy are very rare. On the base of the perceptual knowledge on popular culture and tragedy, in the paper, the desire narrations and tragedy consciousness about popular culture will be analyzed and illustrated and finally put forward the future on the returning of tragedy consciousness in popular culture. There are three parts in the paper.1. Desire and the desire narrations in the popular culture. The desire narrations in the popular culture are: the desire consuming led by the commercial advertisement, the physiological desire showed by vulgar films, TV plays and mass literature, the fame and wealth desire expressed by the popular star worship and the deconstruct desire exaggerated in "dahua" literature and arts forms. From human nature and political, economic and culture aspects of the history and present real life in China and western nations we can find the resources of desires above all. By analyzing of the popular culture from the inner and outer conditions, we can find that the desire narrations publicized are extremely instant, unreal and broken revelry state, they can't bring real comfortable and happy for one's spirit, but worsened one's suffering and anxiousness during the struggle between their soul and body, and created the real tragedy in the name of fashion. The desire narrations of popular culture express the commercial ideology under the trend of globalization, the essential characteristics of mass media and the demanding of the new appearing social class in life style way and value views.2. Tragedy consciousness and the Desire Narrations in Popular Culture. When we think back the tragedies brought by the desire narrations in the popular culture, we find what lacked of it just the tragedy consciousness. Through the whole history of human beings, man has made great progress in all kinds of fields by facing the challenge which unexpected. In present real life, because of the existing of different economic construction between city and countryside in China, the imbalance developing conditions for each areas and persons that the visible tragedies of ruining the valuable thing to show for people are appeared inavoidded. The development of human beings history and present real life are proving the objective existing of tragedy. But the desire narration in poplar culture has always tried their best to avoid the grand narration construction, but instead with the allure and instant physical organ stimulations, the result is that the good virtues in person's character are damaged, and the bad and evil virtues are instigated, the spirit resources for facing up the beating of life are drying up, and they sink into and intoxicated in the spirit opium. In fact, whether on the theories or personal experiences that the tragedy consciousness and the desire narrations in popular culture are in the relation of dialectical unity. At the same time, lots of successful popular cases set a good example for us that the tragedy consciousness can be connected with the popular culture successfully.3. The returning of tragedy consciousness in popular culture. The lacking of tragedy consciousness in popular culture shows the weak point of hiding and cheating in the character of Chinese nation. The bad situation of mass spirit world demands strongly the effective forms of popular culture. In order to walk out the anxiousness statement, the tragedy consciousness should be returned in the popular culture. We believe that the popular culture can walk on the healthy road by the development of negation after negation rules. On the road, the most important is that the writers and artists should regard the true, the good and the beautiful as the highest seeking, and return and express the real life of common people especially the lowest rung people with sublime historical mission sense and social responsibility sense, and discovering the true meaning of life. For mass media what they need is the idea support of humanism spirit. Only when the writers, artists and mass media reach the common understanding they can realize the success in social and economic profit. For the common people, it's necessary for them to form their rational knowledge and actively inherit, reform and develop on the traditional Chinese excellent national and folk culture; simultaneously they should actively train their media quality in the information ages. Only on the base of the three parts' hard work together, and following the all-round and balanced development of China economic and society, the real mass culture that belongs to common people can be realised in china, the crisis of mass' spirit ecological can be saved really, and the common people can live ideally and develop themselves wholly.
