Mass Carnival

The reason that I take the Red Rose for my study object is the realization of this magazine's study is so poor .it is just said simply in a few of literatures books without any analysis. On the base of the other scholars' work, I bring forward some different points, and demonstrate them in this paper. I choose two methods, internally and externally, to study .that is not only study the magazine itself, but pay attention to the illumination by using some interrelated theories, for example, the Carnival Theory of Bakhtin. The method of external study refers to the way of comparing parallel with the New Literature's magazine Novel Monthly. Depending on this ,I want to establish the former's value. In my opinion, the Red Rose is a unreligious magazine in deed, but through the analysis, we can find that why it is so unreligious, and acknowledge rationality of it's being. In the magazine, there are full of culture factors, these can help us to master all aspects of the society. Beside, the Red Rose standing for the popular literature , have the mission to counteract the New Literature which undergo a great development at the time of the Red Rose. In fact, The Red Rose have a great contribution to the development of popular literature by it's excellent practice.
