Between Human And God

This thesis investigates Renaissance period literature in terms of ethics. Try to discuss the change in morals subject and analyze Renaissance period people's morals by regarding culture as the consult and regarding people as the basic point. Classical culture that advocate people and Christianity culture that advocate god are two culture parents. Besides philosophy of Machiavelli and philosophy of Hobbes are philosophy basic of Renaissance ethics system. After seperating from alienation God, people are really sacred and intact. But the revelry after liberation lets the mankind become the enemy of freedom. Individual and mankind separate. The life exists of natural fight to and the life exists of detachment. "Nature" regulates Renaissance earlier stage. "detachment" describes the later stage. Only the hero in common customs world that entity of spirit and people can save the people consciously. He creats and defends freedom. Renaissance is the era that people and spirit integrate. People grew and obtained strength in revelry. The new giant goes out of the prison of one's own spiritual cultural fruit. Body is full of wanting originally, but the parent of the light of reason. Its spirit of revolt, but is founding spirit. There is not the terminal point in the tour of completion of spirit. Creation and vengeance of the human body have not stopped either. In constant occupied and struggle, people are in constant newer existence mode. Body is full of original desire but it is also the mother of rational. It revolt spirit and creat the spirit. The journey of spirit has no terminal point. Creation and vengeance of the human body will not stop either. In constant struggle, people are constantly changing existence mode. The Renaissance period produced the fuzzy classification of reason, in personal reason and public reason, religious reason and political reason, people reason and monarch reason, humane value reason and technological tool present the complicated situation among these reasons. Four pairs of rational spirit contradict each other. There is the same consistency among them. They save each other. After all, the conflicts between human body and soul and conflicts among rational spirits are the war between people and oneself. The era that god ruled people has already been over, but the glory of the spirit exists all the time. Ideal world is a patron saint in a real world all the time. People are criminals and the judges too. Mankind create the brilliant civilization achievement of Renaissance period using the unique ability of judge oneself. Common customs hero becomes human spirit of destiny after God. Monarch and hero who integrate people and spirit must appear in that confused era and must be needed by that era too. Freedom monarch Falstaff, just monarch Don Quixote, wise monarch Henry V and rational monarch Hamlet can be used to express people and morals of Renaissance period.
