Zuozhuan(ã€Šå·¦ä¼ ã€‹)is a dynastic history and Shift(《å²è®°ã€‹)is a general history. They are the important materials for the research of the Chinese history.Zuozhuan(ã€Šå·¦ä¼ ã€‹) records the history from BC 722 to BC 468 while Shiji (《å²è®°ã€‹) records the history from the period of Huangdi(黄å¸) to Hanwudi(汉æ¦å¸). As a result, there are a lot of same parts between these two works in recording the history from BC 722 to BC 468. Sima Qian(å¸é©¬è¿) did not copy Zuozhuan (ã€Šå·¦ä¼ ã€‹) simply, but usually used his own words to narrate the history of this period. Therefore, there are many variations between Zuozhuan (ã€Šå·¦ä¼ ã€‹) and Shiji (《å²è®°ã€‹). The study on variation is always an important side in the Chinese history research, but variations between Zuozhuan (ã€Šå·¦ä¼ ã€‹) and Shift (《å²è®°ã€‹) have not been studied systematically by now. The purpose of this article is to draw some valuable conclusions by studying the variations between the two works.Firstly, we investigate forms of the variations between Zuozhuan (ã€Šå·¦ä¼ ã€‹)and Shift(《å²è®°ã€‹) in this article; secondly, we sum up the main causes about the producing of variations; finally, by studying the variations of Zuozhuan (ã€Šå·¦ä¼ ã€‹) and Shiji(《å²è®°ã€‹) in sound, vocabulary and grammar, we find that there are some differences in language. The value of this article is to provide some powerful "basis for dividing time of the Chinese history by studyingthevariationsofZuozhuan (ã€Šå·¦ä¼ ã€‹) and Shiji(《å²è®°ã€‹).
