The 20th century is the historical moment when the profound changes had taken place in the human society. The center of world revolution had transferred to the Russia. G, who was born in a worker family, had grown up with the development of revolution and proletariat. In the 20th century G had participated in the reformation movement much more actively. Trained by the long term revolutionary practice, G had established his concept about the proletariat and improved his theory about the Marxism. Although he had been confused temporarily in complicated political life, he had never wavered his revolutionary position and serviced for the socialism project consistently.G's opinion in this period displayed mainly in his works named《an untimely thought》. My study will begin with G's《an untimely thought》which had been published in《new life》in the period of the October Revolution. And I will study the core question of"revolution and culture"which had been contained in G's works. Through searching for the formation origin of the culture and the background of the times of G's opinion in the period of the October Revolution, I hope it will make more readers to understand Russian social situation and G's real thought from 1917 to 1918.In his《an untimely thought》, G not only criticized the Bolshevik Revolution, but also disclosed the savage and cruelty of"Russian". After blocked out for about eighty years, those articles have been delivered from persecution in 1997, named with《an untimely thought》. The intense struggles had influenced a wide variety of classes and stratum in Russia. And people had also taken a stand for important social problem, so did G.
