| This thesis aims at probing into the charaters, message, storyplots and the rules within the new-era Mongolian novels which layemphasis on ecology with a view to three different perspectives, that isfrom the social history critics point of view, the culture critics point ofview, the narration critics point of view.Based on the cultural essence embodied in the characters in thenew-era Mongolian novels and its function value expressed from the textitself, together with the author's attitudes towards the character, thisparer classified these characters into different types, as well as presentsthree common themes: the warning to the threats with the nature,reflecting on the root of the causes resulting in the deterioration ofecology, and plans to protect the ecology.The art of novel is usually centered on narrating the story. Thisarticle not only describe the basic format of new-era Mongolian novels,i.e. depredating vs undepredating, demolishing vs undemolishing, butalso forms three more subbranches, that is, ecology and love, ecologyand culture and tradition, ecology and power.The new-era Mongolian novels centered on ecology mainly depictsthe conflicts and fight between the positive and the negative. Therefore,the story plots are always ended with either comedy or tradegy. |
