Study On The Acceptation History Of Yuan Zhen's Poetry

Yuan Zhen was the famous poet in mid-Tang Dynasty who had made the important contribution to the literature of mid-Tang Dynasty. Former scholars have had much appraisal to this, but they gave out so little high appraisal because of his moral quality and political defection. In recent years academic world has yielded many important results of study on his life, moral quality, poems, novels and sorting out his works. But it is not enough to expound the acceptation of his poems in past dynasties. This paper tries to unfold the situations of Yuan Zhen's poems' propagation and acceptation in past dynasties before readers' eyes by textually researching the spreading of his Poems and articles collection, anthologies of his poems and appraisals of critics in every dynasty, so as to offer the powerful material to reveal the regular pattern in different views of acceptation, his position in literature history and his influence to literature development, and this is also the base of the acceptation history of his poems.
