Comment On The Construction Of The History Of Ethnicity In China

China is a multi-ethnic country. But the history books and other relative records can' t expose the development law of the minorities's own well before 20th century. The minorities maintained the stability of the border areas ,the unity of our country and created the great Chinese civilization. But the records failed to give an objective evaluation to them. With Japanese and Western historiography theories imported, the different subjects were reorganized according to the Western model by Chinese Academia in the early 20th century.China faced serious ethnic crisis.Our country was full of the various viewpoints obout the history of ethnicity in the early 20th century. The subject of the Chinese national history was in the beginning stage.Under the historical background,each of Lv Si-mian, Wang Tong-ling, Lin Hui-xiang wrote a book " History of Ethnicity in China "on their own.They analysed and Summarized the Chinese national history from different perspectives ,and they setted up a new framework initially obout the subject of the Chinese national history. I hope that the papers can explore the contributions and shortcomings about the framework of the national history of China by comparing three books of history of ethnicity in China.
