The Structural Psychoanalysis Research Of The Brother-sister-marriage Myths

As an ancient narrative, myth often absurd, in a very lively way, as Levi-Strauss said : In a myth, everything was possible; It seems one after another before and after the incident did not follow any logic or continuity of the rule; Any subject can come with any predicate; Any relationship might be exist. Brother-sister-marriage is a myth who talks about long ago people take siblings as the husbands and wives , the incest subject is unacceptable for the people of our time , but this kind of myth actually widely spreads in all the world , the experience long time does not fade. This unable to restrain to inquire that, How does this kind of taboo story exist? How could it be unceasingly narrated? When people narrate it what information has transmitted?Since the 1930s and 1940s , our country national minority myth research lifted the new page. Our ancestors have gathered, and recorded a great deal of the Brother-sister-marriage myths ( most of which spread orally ), some of them even tried to give the preliminary explanation . This study has laid the foundation for us. However, because the traditional methods based on the theory of the research abroad , also as they unable to break through the central principle to limit to the domestic similar material analysis, therefore they have not been able to let us recognize the nature of such myths.Based on the abundance of such myths and the spread more verbal characteristics, we used Levi-Strauss's Structural Mythology, research the brother-sister-marriage myths spreading all over the world , to find the common structure. Analysis from the point of psychoanalysis , we can find the human's unconsciousness behind this common structure of myth.In the discovery of the "Oedipus complex", Freud described the desire incest presents between the child and mother, pointed out the important role it's play in the personality formation of the children. In the "Totem and Taboo," with the aid of the anthropology discovery and the rich myth material, Freud has revealed to us the similarity between the incest taboo and the neurosis Desire -Repress mechanism . The incest rule between brothers and sisters extending from the incest taboo between the parents and children .Lacan, who surmounted Freud's linear theory, believed that the desire and the taboo also were the structure relations . Through the "mirror stage", Lacan emphasized the role of "autre" in the forming process of individual personality . Is precisely through the imagination relations with the "autre", which mutual enticement, mutually verifies, self can establish. But at the same time, the closed dual relation with the "autre", also makes the self pause in the narcissistic Image. In the case of "Pupin sisters " Lacan point out to us that mirror image relations may formed between the sisters , then the confusion between the identity and the love may able to explain us the incest desire among the brothers and sisters.
