Under the identical cultural background, the response of drama theory for the ideological trend evolution is more obvious compared with the creation of drama. Yuan Poetic Drama was developed in Yuan Dynasty, and it has been on behalf of the literature achievement of that generation. The different appraisal about Yuan Poetic Drama which among the Yuan Dynasty Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty contains not only the different values view, but also the aesthetic standard in the three generations. The differences also have reflected the different writer point of view, which is under the respective society and cultural background. Therefore, the research of the different appraisal about Yuan Poetic Drama among the Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, and Qing Dynasty is very important, which have the significant meaning during the three generations.As the different generations, Yuan Dynasty Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty have the continuity in research as well as their own respective characteristics. This paper tries to discuss this issue from these four aspects, including the overall achievement, the writers, the languages and the collection of scripts. Yuan Dynasty is the newly established time for the drama theory of Yuan Poetic Drama, many of the writings were just only the materials, and were not complete enough, but they leaved the precious material to the descendant, their initial contribution was noticeable. On the other hand, we can also find that, the people in Yuan Dynasty were very proud on the achievement of their Yuan Poetic Drama. The Ming Dynasty had itself characteristics in the Yuan Poetic Drama research. Their research is more wide and deep than predecessors. All kinds of criticism appeared in that time, some people affirmed it, some people suspected while some people denied it. Thus we can conclude that, the people in Ming Dynasty had paid more attention to the value of the Yuan Poetic Drama. In the main, a great many of Ming Dynasty's person still held the affirmation appreciation manner to Yuan Poetic Drama. The people in Qing Dynasty also approved the Yuan Poetic Drama, although most of the critics drop into the pattern of predecessors, and did not have their own new points. Even though, there were a few of researchers, just as Jin Shengtan and Li Yu, whose new ideas had made the great contribution to the research for the entire Yuan Poetic Drama.In a word, overall the Yuan Dynasty Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, they hold the affirmation manner to the Yuan Poetic Drama. Perhaps their aspects, just as the perspective, the depth, and the conclusion are different, but it is no doubt that the great achievement of Yuan Poetic Drama is obvious to all universally to be acknowledged. |
