Ou Yangxiu was the leader of the Northern Song Dynasty literary world and his article on ethics opened the atmosphere of the Northern Song Dynasty, which made him become a Literary great. And his Ci, with distinctive value, occupied a position of equal importance in the history of Ci in China. This paper treats Ou Yangxiu's Ci from three aspects of lyrical characteristic and feature of word boundary as well as the inheriting and development of that, in order to catch macro-grasp and micro-grasp of the overall position and value of Ou's Ci in the history of Ci in China.Ou yangxiu was an amorous man who placed too much value on emotion in his daily life. And an image of "amorous man" was always in his Ci, in which there is much different sigh with emotion of rich connotation, such as love, friendship etc., and which marked a lyrical image and was contagious. Ou's Ci had a word boundary feature of diversification, which gave full play to the orientation of the full-scale innovation of Ci style. Through analyzing the features mentioned above and comparing with Feng Yansi and Yan Shu as well as Su Shi in word boundary, the paper embodied Ou Yangxiu's achievement in developing word boundary.
