| Yelingfeng is a fairy influential writer in 1920s and 1930s. He has not many works, most of which are focused on love between man and woman, applied to analysis the mental experience of the people in love, and he has made many meaningful attempt on advocating human nature and uncovering the role of characters' nature in love, and he has achieved some success in the writing of Aestheticism and Romantic Novel.This dissertation analysis Ye's unique writing style from thinking content, writing features and writing trend: fashion and classic coexisting, romance and estheticism merging. This dissertation also expounds Ye's novels against the backgrounds of Chinese modern literature history and analyzes his achievements and meaning in Chinese love novel.Although, Ye's works are being criticized for a long period because of the singleness of theme and the lack of social broadness and historic significance, but his novels have mixed fashion and classic, romance and estheticism, which is extraordinary in Chinese modern love novel's writing. |
