A Research On The Historical Documents Compilations During Qianlong Period

Chinese historical documents compilation developed very rapidly with brilliant achievements during Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. Qianlong had been an Emperor for a long time. He emphasized the administration of local officials and owned many talents in important positions as an emperor,together with the long-time prosperity and stability during Kangxi and Yongzheng periods , laid a solid foundation for the social developments during Qianlong's ruling time. The great developments in politics ,economy and culture, had been a powerful support and promotion to the historical documents compiling work at that time, during which, a great number of historical documents were compiled in large scale, with some innovations in compiling styles. Meanwhile, the historical documents compilation in return,promoted the political,cultural and economical developments at that time. The research on this field will not only let us understand better the political, cultural developments at that time ,but also enable us to draw lessons and gain experiences as well as styles to promote our modern historical documents compilation.
