This thesis aims to analyze the language style of Letter to Shareholders from the perspective of stylistics, by which means to further explore the effective communication ways between listed companies and their investors. It is of quantitative and qualitative combined. With a series of computation and tests carried out by FOXPRO and SPSS, this thesis examines 30 reputed financial companies' letters to shareholders in Fortune Global 500. After a systematical analysis from graphological, lexical, grammar and semantic levels and from the perspective of contextual factor analysis, the thesis finds out that Letters to Shareholders are typical English that for Specific Purpose; the languages they used have significant differences with common English especially on the level of graphological, lexical and grammar; reading accessibility of Letter to Shareholders is comparatively high, and it will require more for the learners who study in the field of Business English.
