Music Archaeological Research Of Excavated Instruments On The Graveyard Of Jin Kingdom

As the most on number of excavation, the most concentrated musical instrument of Jin Kingdom in west Zhou Dynasty on region and period, excavation of a large number of musical instrument on the graveyard of king of Jin Kingdom fill in the gap of study of musical development in Jin Kingdom, and also is significant data of historical study of music in West Zhou Dynasty.Bell Qing instrument has been indispensable musical instrument in royal court. A large number of Bell Qing instrument on the graveyard excavation, is history record on formation and development of music in Jin Kingdom. This thesis, which introduces briefly development history of musical instrument of Jin Kingdom in West Zhou Dynasty, is dissected from the aspects below: shape evolution, pattern of sculpt, internal structure, as well as analysis of testing tone.System of instrument-hanging plays an important role in ritual system in Zhou Dynasty, this thesis dissects status of instrument-hanging of Jin Kingdom in west Zhou Dynasty based on these instruments' layout combination, collocation system etc., and eventually verify accuracy of document record with proof of archaeological samples.Instrument is the carrier of musical culture, and it implies rich cultural information. By digging cultural information loaded by the Bell Qing instrument, this thesis attempts to analyze the character of musical culture of Jin Kingdom, and researches the attribution of musical culture.
