Beginning With The Understanding Of Life

Civilization derived from human beings' knowledge and understandings of life and the nature, which produced arts, religions, philosophy, cultures, science and technology. However, human beings' knowledge to the nature and life varies in different existence environments. The differences lead to the development differences of arts, religions, cultures, science and technology. Therefore, the arts of any countries and nations have a value standard which is based on its own history development. In other words, the arts of a country or a nation without any distinct regional and national characteristics are lifeless, without its own dependent value standard of culture system. Since the China Concept in the global economy field becomes hotter, the China Concept in global art market begins to draw people's attention. The problems of Chinese arts are to set up a value standard for contemporary Chinese arts and to form cultural characteristics. With above-mentioned problems as the research foundation, this thesis focuses on standardizing the value standard in terms of understandings of life and considerations of contemporary Chinese arts. Therefore, contemporary artists in China should have a clear mind about Chinese arts.
