Studies On The Inference System Of Conversational Implicature

In pragrnatics Conversational Implicature is a very important content.It is because that Conversational Implicature acts as a role to express lingual communication and understand it.After Grice proposed the theory of Conversational Implicature,There have been many hot discusses and debates at home and abroad.They all explored Grice's Conversational Implicature and the inference system.They make important contributions to perfect the theory of Conversational Implicature continuously.But these linguists discussed the inference of Conversational Implicature not from the perspective of logic but linguistic.It is very meaningful to discuss the inference of Conversational Implicature from the perspective of logic,because studying inference is logical task.What condition is Conversational Implicature deduced on? What characteristic is it of ?What pattern is taken?In other words,What is its inference system? This problem varies from person to person.. From the perspective of logic,I disscuss Implicatures by abductive reasoning and default reasoning in term of nation and foreign's research.My aim is to supplement the inference system of Conversational Implicature.and perfect it from different anglesThis paper is a clear study of' the inference system of Conversational implicature through three parts.Chapter one studies Grice's Conversational Implicature and the inference system.Grice proposed Cooperation Principle.He believes that Cooperation Principle can bring the general implicature and the special implicature through the quality,quantity,relations and manner.I further sum up the characteristics of Conversational hnplicature,and then appraise the inference system of Conversational Implicature.Chapter two analyzes the development of Conversational Implicature and the inference system at home and abroad.There are QIM principle by Levinson and Relevance Theory by Dan Sperber Deidre- Wilson in foreign.While there are the Pragmatic inference system by Xu Shengheng and implicature inference principle by Zhou Liquan at home.Each have more than a certain extent solved the pragmatic inference implicature in the conversation and enrich pragmatic inference content. Chapter three researches the inference system of Conversational Implicature from non-monotonic logical inference system.I think how to make the dubitable explanation become certain explanation is a radical problem to solve the inference system of Conversational Implicature. In my papper I interpret Implicatures by abductive reasoning and default reasoning.This is because the purpose of abductive reasoning can find the most likely explanation under the certain condition and the known premise.With the known premise's growth,the conclusion of abductive reasoning is more ascerntain.At last,it can conclude the real reasons.So is Conversational Implicature.As the deep conversation and the transformed context,the additional information will make Conversational Implicature.which is uncertain narrow the scope and become ascertain.Therefore,the conclusions of Conversational Implicature become increasingly clear..Default reasoning reflects the basic characteristics of the understanding words.When information is incomplete or uncertain,Speaker judges implicature by the original intuition or experience.If the new situation take on inconsistency, we will adjust it.In my paper,I think the use of the non-monotonous inference system can further prefect the inference system of Conversational Implicature..It provids a different way to study Implicature..This paper is the explored achievements...
