On Wang Fu's Political Thought And Its Philosophial Foundation

Wang Fu,as a political commentator and thinker in the later period of Eastern Han Dynasty,is the important typical figure of the Thought of Social Criticism. His thought has had an important influence on the development of the Metaphysical Speculations in Wei and Jin periods. Wang Fu observed the governing and chaotic questions from the overall benefit of the feudal country and the personal interest relationship between the monarch and officials. Wang Fu proposed that the social crisis coulde stop by the method of "worship at the end of this suppression". However in last Han Dynasty, the feudal country actually cannot fulfill such a social function, because at that time with the vicious expansion of forces Hao Qiang regime was controlling the country , any safeguard of the overall interests of the feudal state measure is unable to carry out. Wang Fu receives the Pre-Qin primitive Confucianist's political thinking which proposed to constructs the utopia political ideal and has formed his era characteristic of"the people are the foundation of the nation","the monarch is the political fundamentality","the country was flourish by sage"etc, the political thinking system.Although Wang Fu regards the people as a cornerstone of the country,hightly advocating the idea of this,but ultimately thought that the prosperity and decline of a country is only dependent on the monarch. In the absolute monarchy system, the populace have not the method to affect the political decision-making,has not been able to intervene the monarch will of the way,it will inevitably produce such a monarch determinism. Although Wang Fu has many creative opinions in the governance,he not only takes great recognition on the populace for the country's important role,but also has aimed at the critique spear point to the monarch. But still he had not been able to break through Chinese traditional political and ideological field of the psychological format, that the monarch is the political fundamentality and the right to rule in the monarch. Wang Fu's philosophical thinking has a complete statement in his "On Qianfu·Benxun" chapter that he here has taken link to the natural and social, politics and moral, monarch and subjects, the Yin and Yang and the heart of nature are two basic questions in it. In the natural view aspect,Wang Fu thought that a chaotic YuanQi before Yin and Yang,its strength up but since the formation of Yin and Yang, thus produce world, and all things include the human.
