The C-E translation for global communication has been becoming more and more important with China's further integration into the Global world. The research on Translation has been booming in recent years. However the research on C-E translation for global communication only focuses on the analysis and transformation of languages from linguistic surface. It is a kind of static analysis under the framework of the traditional translation concepts such as"faithfulness","equivalence"etc. Moreover, the research on subjectivity of translators has been almost ignored, especially in C-E translation for global communication. The present paper will discuss the subjectivity of the translator in C-E translation for global communication:The first chapter starts with a history of the research on the subjectivity of translator, an overview of the concept on translator's subjectivity in traditional translation theory before exploring the development on this research.The second chapter briefs the rationale of translator's subjectivity------relevance theoryThe third chapter introduces the definition, linguistic and stylistic features of China's global communication, and the characteristics of C-E translation for global communication.The fourth chapter highlights the relation between relevance theory and C-E translation for global communication.The fifth chapter analyzes the subjectivity of the translator for C-E translation for global communication under the framework of relevance theory.The sixth chapter analyzes the pitfalls in C-E translation for global communication from the two ostensive-inferential communication processes.The seventh chapter introduces the strategies in C-E translation for global communication。The eighth chapter draws a conclusion: The translator, as the main designer in the whole process of C-E translation for global communication, must make good use of their subjective dynamics and creativity, so that the objective of the C-E translation for global communication can be obtained. On the other hand, the subjectivity of the translator is limited. Therefore, as qualified translators, they have to recognize their subjectivity dialectically and avoid making mistakes in two extremes.
