A Thesis On New Thinking, New Melody And New Technique Of Chinese Art Song In The May 4th Period

The May 4th Period refers to the time between the October Revolution succeeded in 1917 when Marxism-Leninism spread through china and april 12th 1927,When the great revolution failed.Chinese art song was born in The May 4th Period and it is just the first step of Chinese modern history when Chinese Music being modernized. Aimed on the characteristic of Chinese art song,This dissertation takes research on Chinese art song in three ways:new thinking,new melody and new technique,Finally, analyse the modernityof The May 4th Period Chinese art song.In the first part,we first summarized the definition of art song and the European art song,and then analysed the historical background of The May 4th Period and it'sinitiation effect on Chinese new Music.Finally, researched school music--thebeginning of Chinese art song and the May 4th Period Chinese art song.The Second Part of this dissertation took Research on the new thinking of Chinese art song in three ways: depict realism,go in for nationality of Chinese music and fill taste of people, definitely described a fact that the rapid development of The May 4th Period music reflected people's notion and requirement of the time.The third part mentioned on the new melody of The May 4th Period Chinese art song.
