Until the bamboo slip Wen Zi was excavated in Bajiaolang tomb of Ding county in HeBei province in 1973,Wen Zi is proved authentic, which affirms the value of the Wen Zi in Chnese ancient knoweadge and thought history. The scholars'discussion on the WenZi'ideology based on the edition of the popular one called presenting edition which was mixed with the real and false materials in past. The discussion would be meaningless and false if people use all the materials without selecting. After the explanation of the bamboo slip of Wen Zi was published, the scholars'opinions were that the presenting edition and the bamboo slip Wen Zi should be divided when people talked about the ideology of Wen Zi. If do so, the contents of the bamboo slip edition would be overnoticed and the presenting edition would be neglected. So I think we should combine the bamboo slip Wen Zi with the presenting edition in which may have the material of the origin edition when we discuss the Wen Zi'ideology. We must do careful researches in detail on presenting edition and get the authentic information, then discuss the thoughts of the Wen Zi so that we can get the reasonable evaluation.The first chapter of this thesis mainly analyze the written year of the Wen Zi and the background of the thought coming into being .After organizing and integrating many kinds of ideas, I get the more confirmative conclusion that the ancient edition of the Wen Zi was accomplished in the late half of the Zhan Dynasty. At the time, I think there is corresponding background to explain the reason why Wen Zi'ideology originates in the late half of the Zhan Dynasty and the thoughts of Wen Zi is proved to play important role in the development of the Lysenko of Lao-tzu.The second chapter is the key part of this thesis and is the basis of undestanding the ideology of Wen Zi. The presenting edition has many same information with HuaiNanZi. That is the main reason why scholars criticize it. The scholars also essentially affirm that the different information between the Wen Zi and HuaiNanZi is reliable. But that is not enough. Because of the large volume of the different parts, no one has done deep and specific researches on the different information of the Wen Zi. and HuaiNanZi. As far as such question is concerned, this chapter collects predecessors'explanations and the related comments and compares the Huainan Zi and Wen Zi with their same information. The purpose is to identify the authentic information from the forgery.The third and fourth chapter of this thesis talks about the thoughts of Wen Zi by discerning the contents of the presenting edition and combining the bamboo slip Wen Zi. On the one hand,This chapter displays that the Wen Zi inherits the early thought of Taoism and develops its thoughts. It is an important procedure for Wen Zi to develop thought from Lao Zi to Lysenko of Lao-tzu. We should pay attention to the early expression of the Lysenko of Lao-tzu reflected by Wen Zi. On the other hand, the Wen Zi inherits the thought of Taoism and actively absorbs the thought of the Confucianism in order to blend the two part to make their politic ideal come true. So we can know that the Taoism and Confucianism in early time is not as completely conflicting as latter people regards in some extents but is harmonious, which can be found in Chu bamboo slip of Laozi exvacated in GuoDian. And the unearthed bamboo slip of Wen Zi more strongly proves the idea's correctness.
