Based on the reading of the history of western philosophy, Deleuze proposed to construct an immanent idea of the sensible. In complishing this task, Deleuze was inspired by the intensive principle of the sensible described by Kant in his . On the one hand, Deleuze begins where Kant stops, because Kant hadd't push this principle further due to his transcendental project. On the other hand, Kant's description on imagination and reason in his further inspired Deleuze, because it gives a principle of genesis to the harmonious co-functioning of faculties, i.e. common sense. Taking this two points into consideration, Deleuze established the theory of immanent idea to "overturn Platonism" which is the overall ends of all modern philosophy defined by Deleuze.Deleuze's immanent idea of the sensible is very important to esthetics research. The main influence may be focused on the concept of "becoming", Deleuze adopted this concept to overturn the hierarchy imposed on the beings. Deleuze proposed to subtitute becoming for being, defference for identity. Along this line of thought, we can save esthetics research out of epistemological and metaphisical model which have imprisoned it for such a long time.
