A Study Of Minority Adolescent Students' Alienation Sense From Southeast Of Chong Qing

To study the sense of minority adolescent students' alienation, the present paper used modified college Students Alienation Scale by Yang dong and Sense of race identification Scale by Wang ya peng. The findings of an investigation of 358 students in the middle school and college from southeast of Chong Qing are as follows: firstly, the score in the sense of social alienation was much higher than the sense of environmental and interpersonal alienation. The further analysis showed that the highest and beyond midpoint score were oppress and restriction alienation, sense of uncontrollability alienation and sense of non-meaning. The lowest score was the sense of self-alienation. So the above dimensions were all the factors of social alienation.Secondly, the significant main effects were found for grade in the sense of uncontrollability alienation and Sense of race identification. In addition, whether is a single child family or not significantly affected sense of non-meaning, natural alienation and alienation to living situation.Lastly, in two dimensions interaction, alienation between family members mainly came from the interaction between race and grades; alienation to living situation mainly came as a result of interaction between genders and only one child; sense of self-alienation mainly showed the interaction between grades and whether or not only one child. In three dimensions interaction, genders, race and grades bring about the great differences in students' alienation to living situation; genders, grades and whether or not only one child result in the great differences the oppress and restriction alienation.
