Manga is a general designation of animation and comic. Since the year between 1980s and 1990s, manga is very popular with middle school students and it has a characteristics of popularity daily, scope and blindness. Manga appreciation can alleriate students'tense. Also, the heroes and the principles in the manga can encourage them very well. However, the good and the bad are intermingled in foreign mangas. At the same time, our management of manga system is very rough without classification, and the generch give few filtration adult manga about sex and violence corroded the students who was influenced by coarse aesthetic value and violence concept. The intrusion of foreign manga also influenced students'concept of value and made them have such psychological characteristics as transition, rapidity and the turmoil of the contradictions and they also have such aesthetic psychological characteristics as emotional aesthetic attitude, sensitive aesthetic feelings, different aesthetic taste, anti_traditional aesthetic values, and independence and blindness of aesthetic judgement.It can be said that students'aesthetic psychology has a certain degree of development but not mature enough, it should be built through the accumulation of aesthetic experience and aesthetic education. Only through the building of students'aesthetic psychoiogy, the students'aesthetic psychoiogy can be gradually elevated and the students'aesthetic immunity ability can be improved. Basically, it enables them to discard the clross and select the essence. This paper demonstrates in theory that manga is good for the building of students'aesthetic psychology. Through manga shows, the students can develop their aesthetic sensing ability; enrich their aesthetic imagination, and improve their aesthetic comprehension.Finally, based on the objective reality of students'manga apprecition, this paper discusses the feasibility of adding manga to the art classes in middle schools, introduce some manga works which can represent the mainstream of human spirit with a profound ideological connotation, infect students with aesthetic object of noble interests, annotate different manga art style and train students'appreciation and sensitivities to the art form; highlight Chinese culture, establish national self_confidence, take advantage of the characteristics of manga image as a cultural strategy to influence the younger generation so as to guide students in extra curriculular manga apprection better.
