The Culture Hegemony Theory Of Gramsci And The Advanced Cultural Reconstruction

At the beginning of 20th century, Antonio Gramsci, the leader of Italian Communist party, on the basis of summarizing the revolutionary experience, creatively put forward the theory that the proletariat can gain with the non-violent revolutionary means——the theory of culture hegemony. Not only has the theory provided the new thinking for the proletariat who capture the regime in the Western developed capitalist countries, but also it has provided the beneficial enlightenment for the socialist countries to protect the regime. The theory of culture hegemony has improved the cultural status.With the arrival of the globalization, the exchange of the culture and the conflict of the culture becomes popular, so do the belief crisis and the cultural anxious, the ideology duel is more intense. Researching the deep question in the social life from the point of view of the culture and providing the answer to the realistic question become a new task of the philosopher and the sociologist. While bending over backward the construct of economy, society and politics, our country should strengthen the construct of culture. Only if our country establish the axiology system of Chinese character socialism and have the hegemony of the Chinese character socialism culture, we can strengthen the cohesion, provide the psychic impetus for the whole nationality, encourage the entire national the creativity, expand the influence of China in the world, reinforce"the trench"for China, resist the"the cultural hegemony"of Western world effectively.Taking the culture hegemony theory as a breakthrough point, I attempted to put forward the countermeasure for the China advanced cultural reconstruction by the way of comparing and analyzing in my article.The whole thesis is divided into three parts: The first part"Gramsci and the historical background and the theory-origin of the culture hegemony theory", expounded the experience of Gramsci's struggling, the Italian domestic and international circumstance and the strugglling in the field of thought at the times, traced back to the theory-origin.The second part"The major content of the culture hegemony theory of Gramsci", explained all the details of culture hegemony theory, including later generations' understanding, the philosophy foundation and the way to realize.
