Gramsci Ideology, Leadership Theory

Antonio Gramsci is a famous maxism theorist and statesman in western countries. In his works called The Prison Notebook, he explains the theory on hegemony systematically and makes many creative Penetrating explainations and development on maxism. The raise of the theory on hegemony is not only the practical reason of proletariats'struggle, but also the logic development of classic maxism, which includes the summary of proletariats'revolutionary experiences as well.Hegemony is an ideological course characterized by politics. It is closely related with practical philosophy, and political power. Political philosophy is it's basis and the separation between civil society and political society makes it possible for it's theory frame. And another political definition-"agreement"in political power constitutes the focus of this theory and it's originality.Many scholars began to focus on Antonio Gramsci since the reform and opening-up. As a whole, the study on Gramsci's leadership is very skin-deep and there are many disadvantages and limitations esp the comments that is not universally agreed. Therefore, it is of great importance to make fair comments on it, which does good for study on Gramsci's theory of hegemony and serving for the reform and construction of our country.
