Objective:To study and compare the psychological stress among the workers and the managers in electric corporation,analysis its effecting factors and the relationship between stress and life satisfaction, provide theoretics gist of improving their psychological health status and satisfaction and positivity of work.Methods:559 samples were selected by stratified random sampling from the electric corporation and were investigated with self-designed general information questionnaire,job and life satisfaction questionnaire and questionnaires of mental and social stress include of Stress Response Questionnaire(SRQ),Life Event Scale(LES),Trait Coping Style Questionnaire(TCSQ)and Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS).The data were analyzed with SPSS 13.0 by Pearson correlation analyzed,analysis of variance and stepwise linear regression analysis and so on.Results:1.The scores of the stress reaction among workers (workers group)(70.95±27.81)were significantly higher than those among managers(manaers group)(61.28±22.56)(P<0.001),and were significantly higher than those of society norms(59.65±21.78)(P<0.001). The scores of the stress reaction among managers had no significantly difference with society norms(P>0.05).2.In workers group,there are gender differences between LCU, LCU2,and LCU4(P<0.05),spans of age differences between SR,SPR, SBR,LCU,LCU1,PC,SS,SIF and SOF(P<0.05或P<0.001), marriage differences between SR,SPR,SBR,SS and SOF(P<0.05), and no significantl difference in education degree(P>0.05).In manaers group,there are gender differences between LCU3 and NC(P<0.05), spans of age differences between SER,SPR,LCU,LCU2 and LCU3 (P<0.05),and no significantly difference in marriage or education degree (P>0.05).3.There were significant correlation between SR,SER,SPR,SBR and all the stress related factors both of the two group.In workers group, SR was significantly correlated with N3,N4,N7,N8 and N9(P<0.05 or P<0.001).But in manaers group,there was no significant correlation between SR and all the work status.There were correlation between every factor of stress related factors except for LCU1-LCU4 and there were negative correlation between PC,SS,SIF,SOF and stress reaction, life event and positivity coping style.4.Multiple regression analysis on stress response(SR)of workers group revealed that the following factors got into the equations one by one in order:NC,LCU2,LCU3,PC and LCU1,R~2=0.495.Multiple regression analysis on stress response(SR)of workers group revealed that the following factors got into the equations one by one in order:NC,SIF and LCU2,R~2=0.481.5.The scores of job and life satisfaction among workers group(JLS) (76.72±16.94)were significantly lower than that among managers group (81.58±15.41)(P<0.01).JLS among the two group was significantly correlated with their SR,SER,SPR and SBR(P<0.001),and was significantly correlated with all the stress related factors except for LCU4 (P<0.05 or P<0.001).There were significant correlation between JLS and N1,N2,N3,N4,N5,N8 and N9 in workers group(P<0.05 or P<0.001).But in manaers group JLS only significantly correlated with N2(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Psychological stress among workers in electric corporation are significantly higher than managers and society norms, especially the 30-40 age group.2.The main effecting factors of the psychological stress among workers are coping style,life events and day working time.3.The job and life satisfaction among workers are significantly lower than that among managers and it is significantly correlated with psychological stress.
