This paper gives an analysis to the present traditional model in College English Teaching at home and the new theory of learning-Constructivism which has begun being popular since 1990's. Based on Krashen's "Input Hypothesis", Ausubel's "Advaned Organizers" and Vygotski 's "Zone of Proximal development" theories, the Scaffolding Model is put forward in College English Teaching. Meanwhile, some teaching samples, through attempts and tries, are given here in order to explain how to employ the Scaffolding Model in College Englsih Teaching.
