The Study Of Modern Ceramic Art In Terms Of Design For City Landscape

Design for city landscape is a very complicated subject and enormous contents unknown that demands our research and practice. Previously, the application of modern ceramic art has dramatically increased than ever before in terms of design for city landscape. It adds dazzled color for the content and form of the design for city landscape. The modern ceramic art, such as various ceramic brick, modern ceramic sculpture, modern ceramic fresco and equipment of ceramic environment, is reflected in the construction of landscape environment by a new linguistic system in all kinds of landscape environment.Nowadays, the whole society concentrates on the construction of landscape environment. And this is closely connected with the harmonious development and the improvement of ecology environment. This article intends to study on how to integrate modern ceramic art into design for landscape environment by virtue of influence on environmental factors and people's sense for beauty. Fully discussing the involvement of modern ceramic art in background of fields on design for city landscape, analyzing the uniqueness and limitation existing in modern ceramic art of landscape design, this article analyzes the style of modern ceramic art with combination of Chinese and foreign examples of modern ceramic art and emphases on demonstrating the presentation and application. Furthermore, it also discusses some issues concerning the modern ceramic art in landscape design, studying on the developmental trend and the social value and significance of application of modern ceramic art in design for city landscape.
