The Abstract Meaning And The Function Of The Horizon In The Painting

The painting, as an art of vision sense, transports information toward the view of appreciating beauty to the viewers mainly depending on the sense of vision image, and it is the art which is devoted a felling in. To the painting itself, the existence of the form language is the real direct path that can express an artist's feels. However the mental effect existing in the layer of consciousness structure is the most important. Faced with the delicate, complicated and fine structure of the sense of view and feeling , it is the conscious intuition in the surface layer and the unconsciousness in latent structure that react with each other. It uses "abstract" language. In other words, the abstract factor is all indispensable in the whole painting.This text mainly studies the most important abstract element of the most important form language in the painting work-horizon, and the relationship between horizon and other elements such as points, lines, sides and shapes. By arguing visible and perceptive formation and the theory of tower psychology I prove the mental reaction process that the abstract elements, for example, the horizon produces. According to the sense of vision and fellings comimg from view in numerous oil painting works ,I get the abstract meaning and function the horizon has in getting a stability, balance, holding still, the abyss of time, and infiniting expand of extending etc.It inspires us further that, in the idea, the imagination, the thinking, consciousness' etc all these abstract factors, taking a certain appearance, emotion characteristic from contrete samples or exchanging them into factors of shape ,for example, is of great importance and meaning and value of existence.However, the real painting exists in the artist,s sensitive mind and the handling in the nature of the things. The usage of the horizon and other abstract factors in the painting is sensible ,direct straightforward ..Art creations should be in unconscious or the half unconscious process.
