Among the Cultural heritage in the human visual arts, there are many works which show artists thinking of the art through the performance characteristics and hand gestures. They become classical paradigm because of their vivid description, accurate expression and the ability of achieving exchange with the audience. At the same time there are also many works which make in-depth treatise of the structure and morphology and techniques in the performance of the hand painting. For example, DRAWING DYNAMIC HANDS by Burne Hogarth,The book of a hundred hands by G. Bridgman. But how to analyse the performance of hands home from the angle of zoology, psychology and semeiology, as well as the new phenomenon in modern art, has not been involved in the issue.The paper, which uses the performance of hands as starting point, dissertates the importance role played by the description of hands and gestures from different angles. For the performance of hand and gestures we need to survey over again standing in anatomy, zoology, psychology and semeiology. The first part of the paper discusses the unique dealing with hand of the artists who made great contributions to human art, and explains the view that in-depth and meticulous performance of hand played a special role in the works of art, through the detailed analysis of the structure of the anatomy of hand, fingers, skin, the shape and proportion of hands and the hands of diversity. The process of exposition involves research results related to human anatomy and zoology and links them with painting, in-depth analysis of how hands perform. Papers second part of the meeting focus on the hand movement, the movement characteristics of the hand at the same time points out that the characteristics of the movement in the painting and creating a master screen atmosphere are closely related. The third part shows the importance of gestures in art works. First, from the non-verbal communication of gestures, put forward to the communication between gestures and the audience in paintings. In the next place, from a psychological point of view, indicates that performance of gestures in works exhibit and imply people's mentality.Finally leads from the semiotic perspective on the symbolic gesture, combining the characteristics of contemporary art, for example gestures of the sign of the contemporary paintings in the manifest.In the investigation of fingers, skin and screen performance, hand movement and creation of an atmosphere of images, communication of gestures and symbolic gestures of the paintings, basically, there are not too off-the-shelf reference and the older generation's conclusion which we can make use of. Especially respect of symbol, a lot of work in this paper is attempting to make theoretical and the definition of the concept of the basic concepts of symbols and symbol of gestures, and build the first description. On this basis, taking artist and works as analysis examples, we study on the relationship between symbol of gestures and the works. Based on the analysis method, the paper lists a large number of examples of these examples which include murals, paintings, sculpture, photography, television, and work of other areas. It has a detailed and extensive features, with anatomy, zoology, psychology, science and other disciplines symbols theory, makes analysis of the classification and characteristics.
