"The Peony Pavilion" is one wonderful work of the Chinese legend in Ming dynasty. It attracted not only the literati but also boudoir women. And it even became the most favorite of boudoir women. Boudoir women indulged in the romantic world of art created by "The Peony Pavilion". Their selfless reading left the future generations the chance of sporadic comments or forming books. Meanwhile, it is worth our attention that many boudoir women died because of the reading of "The Peony Pavilion". Female's reading on "The Peony Pavilion" has strong affection of gender identity so that their comments differed a lot with male's. And they have their own unique aspects. The spread of the book regarding female's comments on "The Peony Pavilion" stimulates its spread among boudoir women. Starting with the analysis of some typical boudoir women, the paper covers the acceptance of "The Peony Pavilion" by boudoir women in Ming and Qing dynasty along with the analysis of the trends of social thought and life state of boudoir women at Ming and Qing dynasty.
