Cooperative learning has been introduced in the classroom teaching in China since early 1990s. At present, the reform of learning methodology is one of the main tasks in the new reform of foundation education.Cooperative learning is also called as collaborative learning. It is world widely used as one of the classroom teaching forms of organization and is thought of as a creative and effective teaching theory and strategy system."Help-Acceptance"Cooperative learning is a branch of Cooperative learning strategy, it suits in the teacher who utilizes the Cooperative learning strategy for the first time. This strategy is familiar with that of traditional learning, and that of the companion counsels learning which help teachers to understand and fulfill the Cooperative learning strategy successful, besides, It has been proved to be efficient in improving the classroom atmosphere, creating a new type of relationship between teachers and students, reducing the anxiety in English learning and improving the students'school achievements on a large scale.This thesis is made on the basis of SD College and from a case study to discuss how to put the cooperative learning groups into practice more effectively in English classroom teaching through the practice of action researchers. The study includes the division of the cooperative learning groups, the planning of the learning tasks, the questions arousing in the activities of the cooperative learning, the evaluation of the group activities and the guidance of the cooperative skills.The present study makes a conclusion as below: It can not only facilitate the students in English learning, but also can create a friendly learning environment in the classroom, develop their personalities and it is helpful in forming the students'skills.This study has promoted the researchers'understanding of the cooperative learning, put the classroom teaching into practice more effectively and strengthened the research desire and abilities of the teachers.
