Singaporean Diplomacy Since The Independence

Since independence ,Singapore has made the adjustment and the enrichment unceasingly regarding the national security and economic interest to its foreign policy. Follows the national strength to strengthen, its diplomacy also to develop day after day from the initial survival diplomacy to the development diplomacy, the vivid diplomacy, and has established the image of its good citizen of international community progressively, has gone through it from realism to idealism, reach the realistic transition again. Singapore combines it's own reality, is based on Association of South-east Asian Nations dealing with the regional relation, give priority to the relation with Malaysia and Indonesia,carries out the policy that the great nation"multilateral is involved in"at the peripheral business, and has launched vivid and dramatic economic diplomacy in the world. The Singaporean foreign policy since the independence is influenced by the country where it is in, international environment, based on realism, has make the great achievement, has promoted national security and national socio-economic development, but there are some faults. Compare with the faults, its achievement is main.
