The Research On Subarea Of Pinghua Dialect In Northern Guangxi

This thesis focuses on the Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi (including the vernacular in northern Guangxi),specifically refers to the Pinghua dialect or vernacular spoken in the following 11 regions of northern Guangxi, namely Ziyuanyandong, Quanzhouwenqiao, Xingangaoshang, Guanyangguanyinge, Linguiyining, Linguiliangjiang, Yongfutangbao, Fuchuanxiushui, Zhongshan and Hezhou. Based on the comprehensive analysis and statistical research on the vocabulary level of these dialects, the thesis analyses the relationship among above parts, and by analyzing of pronunciation features, it also discusses the subarea of these dialects. The conclusion shows that it can be divided into three dialect areas, namely Wenyan area, Liangpu area and Zhonghe area.There are eight chapters in the thesis. The first chapter serves as an introduction. Chapter Two gives a brief introduction of the Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi. Chapter There introduces the establishment of vocabulary database. Chapter Four analyses the vocabulary materials of Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi.Chapter Five gives a comprehensive research of vocabulary of Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi.Chapter Six gives a statistical research of vocabulary of Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi. Chapter Seven gives a comparative research of pronunciation of Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi.Chapter Eight is a conclusion which sums up the thesis.
