On The Phonetic Feature Of Pinghua Dialect In Southern Guangxi-Take The Zheyuan Dialect In Ningming Haiyuan As Link

Pinghua dialect has always been such a debating focus in dialects academia that it has drew an increasing attention from the scholars. As the theory of linguistic and its researching technology advancing, a growing number of scholars have carried out in depth researches on Pinghua dialect, so that more and more researching fruits become available to us. This thesis figured out the overall phonetic feature of the Pinghua Dialect in Southern Guangxi(referred as PDSG. hereafter) on the connection of the research on the tone of Zheyuan Village Ningming County. At the same time, we chose Dihua dialect in Qinzhou, Nabi dialect of Baise, and Fumian dialect in Yulin as the samples.Through a synchronic comparison we come to a conclusion that the features of PDSG. are similar and we have found the commonality. All of these outcomes can act as reference for further research on the PDSG. and the research of the belongingness of PDSG. Besides, it can act as a living specimen for the explanation system of the commonality of language and the language contact.Chapter1serves as a preface which introduced geographic environment, the evolution of the official organizational system and language using. It has also made a presentation of the research status quo of the PDSG and the importance and the aim of my research.Chapter2and3introduced the phonetic feature of Zheyuan dialect in Haiyuan and induced the feature of its initials, finals and tones. A collocation table of the3elements of speech sounds is included. A diachronic comparison of its phonetic system was made thereafter.Chapter4to6are mainly on the phonetic system comparison of Zheyuan dialect and other PDSG, including Zheyuan dialect in Ningming, Dihua dialect in Qinzhou. Pinghua dialect in Laokou, Jiangxi, Fumian dialect in Yulin and so on. Meanwhile, to get a better understanding of the importance of the phonetic system of Zheyuan dialect in Haiyuan and Ningming within PDSG, a comparison of the phonetic system of Zheyuan dialect in Ningming with the sample of Pinghua Dialect in Northern Guangxi, namely, Wutong dialect in Lingui, and the sample of Baihua dialect, namely, Baihua dialect in Nanning.
