The Harlem Renaissance , a rise of black culture movement in the United States , occered in 20s-30s of 20th century. Large number of black people living in the southern United States pour into the north citys, this is the process of American urbanization ,it is also a process of black people's urbanization. Due to the low quality and the lack of skills, the large influx of black people in northern cities can not be quickly integrated into urban life, plus the whites of discrimination and increasingly severe isolation policy, black people were crowding in a special district , we call it Ghetto. Harlem, New York became the largest black located district. Accompanied by the World war I and the 1920s economic prosperity, a large number of educated black intellectuals and artists of the lived in Harlem, Harlem has gradually become the capital of African American culture. Harlem Renaissance blacks in the cultural sense, a turning point, its influence has extended to World War II, even to the civil rights movement.I would like to select the Harlem Renaissance as a cross-section, contact with the United States after a pre-war ideologies, economic development, and social changes to the black people, to classficate the Renaissance reasons, the process and the impact.In addition to this introduction and conclusion, the major part is divided into three chapters.Introduction of the topics include the significance of domestic and international research developments and this perspective.Chapter I, "The reasons for the Harlem Renaissance". In the end of the 19th century, African Americans set off a wave of black urbanization, a large numbers of Southern blacks came into northern cities, it is the process of gradually produced a class stratification, the middle and upper classes constituted a black Harlem Renaissance's mass base and cultural soil. Racial discrimination and urban decay makes the central area of blacks were forced to live in a constant region, a large number of black people communities create a kind of culture , black elites in the race more easily located within a small district, they produced a large number of literary and artistic works. After the war, because of New York liberal culture and rampant hedonism, whites focused on the black entertainment and culture .This chapter is divided into four, as the city centre, the combination of the class stratification, race gathered, the three cultural atmosphere Factors to analyze the reasons for the Harlem Renaissance.Chapter II " The process of Harlem Renaissance movement". This chapter focuses on the Harlem Renaissance movement , the social movement and the good ideas and works of black artists. Harlem Renaissance movement is not just a literary movement, it contains a lot of social movements and ideas, Garvay Movement took place in this campaign is an important period of the black liberation movement, Garvay Movement and the Harlem Renaissance Movement has a deep contradictions, and also interact with each other. In this campaign, the Association for the Advancement of color play an important role, its organs magazine "crisis" is the Harlem Renaissance movement and important position, "crisis" Du Bois magazine's editor-in-chief is black Movement leaders. A lot of black artists work has demonstrated the cultural achievements of black people, blacks and demonstrated the fighting spirit.Chapter III " the impact of the Harlem Renaissance movement."
