Li Jianwu is a successful generalist who contribute a lot of masterpieces in modem literary history, his creativity in the areas of literary criticism, drama, essays, novels, translations and French literature research, and he has made an important contribution to the development of modern literature. The literary creation of Li Jianwu has been paid more and more attention. The study played on Li Jianwu is still in the preliminary stage of development, and the research directions mainly focus on his drama and comedy aesthetic research, the vast majority of the conclusion of the study is sure voices. Research direction of the narrow and conclusions of a single trend means that the study of Li Jianwu also plays a lot of room for growth and development, of which more conversion of the study is imperative.In the academic sector in a certain sound, the paper boldly used suspected spirit and anti-mainstream perspective, based on the whole system of Li Jianwu's drama creation, placing him in the history of the inspected coordinates. Apart from restoring history from the theory of drama to drama practice, more of the paper doing is return of the theory and the text to explain the doubt and shortcomings of Li Jianwu's drama system,and then further explained the rationality that Li Jianwu's drama writing had been long forgotten by the literary history.In this paper, Li Jianwu theatre system was divided into three parts to explore the pros and cons of Li Jianwu's theatrical productions, which are: "Humanity" theatrical aesthetic, original drama, adaptations. Li Jianwu has clung to the right people, human nature, life and made the three concept to a whole one, but "human" literary expression implied in the concept of the idealist factor which is hard to reconcile the reality of creation, so the aesthetic concept which is lack of System Architecture lost more scrutiny. Li Jianwu's original plays have obvious advantages, but it's a pit that they can't conceal deficiencies. He is lack of capacity to structure complex story, which has serious impact on its work on the depth and breadth of human development, and the defects also hinder further upgrading of his artistic achievements. Nevertheless, his foreign drama adaptations have achieved high artistic achievements which is own to the choice of adaptation targets as well as his own high artistic sentiment. Because of the nature and the other objective and subjective reasons, the adaptations are not given due attention, and ultimately got an outcome of loneliness. On the whole, there are aspects of reasons causing Li Jianwu's drama writing just a "lonely travel", but these factors can not be attributed to historical or political, the inherent problems of his theatre system is the most important reason.Nevertheless, the contribution, which is made by Li Jianwu to the development of China's modern drama, could not be denied. We need to ensure success, but also need to find problems, and use an objective and impartial perspective to examine the writer, and this is also our sincere respect to the author of the plays.
