Although Vladimir Nabokov is famous as "the post-modern literary master", his fictions have been focus on the three traditional themes: death, love and art. In his works, the theme of art is not merely a theme relates art, but also one of the most important, with the ultimate command of the subject. The existence of the "artists" is the prerequisite of the theme of art. Most of Nabokov's novels are involved in the "writers", and this is a very important characteristic of the "Nabokov's world". The "writers" has become a closed and the integrity system.In the first part, the paper pointed out that the presence of the writers in Nabokov's novels, and classified them into four types: "the growing writers", "mad artists", "cruel Cervantes" and "the ideal writers" by a certain standards. Through discussing them respectively, the paper focuses on how Nabokov formed and enriched and deepened the theme of art by using different types of the "writers".There is an intrinsic link between the theme and the narrative technique. The "writer" in Nabokov's novels not only present as an image but also assume the narrative function. As a narrative strategy, different types of writers sometimes coexist in Nabokov's novels, and this result in the apposition of many heterogeneous texts. In the second part, the paper concentrated on the study of the unreliable narrator, the mulriple text levels, and the spiral structure of Nabokov's works.Nabokov writes about writers who write their own acts and the other all his life long, the process of writing is not only as a closed world of the art, but also can be regarded as an allegorize interpretation of Nabokov's literary viewpoint. Nabokov wrote around the "writers" through his writing career, it shows that the ultimate meaning of write to him. For the writers in his fictions, writing is also existed as a manner of self-help which has been the "Aesthetic salvation" of the ultimate. The stance of writing not only reflected the ideal of "Art save human's lives", but also reflected the eternal dilemma of mankind. In the third part, the paper started from the gesture of writing, analysed the creative concept of Nabokov as to clarify the ultimate meaning of writing to Nabokov.
