The prosperity of puppety hastened the puppet carving art. In the past the Zhangzhou puppet carving art exist two genre. One is Zhongyuan style, the other is Wushi style. At present, the Zhongyuan style is showed in the Budai puppet carving, and the Wushi style is showed in the head of Teizhi puppet carving and the mud carving art.The Zhangzhou Budai puppet carving art is represented by the Xus family. Xuzhuchu is the best one in the Zhangzhou Budai puppet carving art.
